Last font color - HIDEOUS! Today, a little better. Well I'm excited. I am off for a weekend of fun in the sun I mean snow....Off to Utah to see my Erin-friend before she leaves on the mish to the Dominican Republic. I am pumped that I get to have a few days off from my life and go run around Utah with my friends. I also get to see Natalika and baby-sit her kids! YAY! So, if you read this and you're in Utah and you would like to see me this weekend (2/24-2/27) give me a ring on the cell and I'll see what I can do!

Much love!

at the request of those who read my xanga, i am updating FINALLY. work is going well. the sailors are interesting to say the least. any stereotype you've heard about sailors is TRUE! at least they were my valentines. i never would have thought that a bunch of 20 something guys would get so into valentine's day for anyone besides their significant other.

i have started going to singles stuff with The Dave again. it's been fun. i'm excited that we are probably getting a singles branch in our stake. i would be the relief society pres, ward organist, and teach sunday school just so that we could have our own singles stuff. i like the d11 ward well enough, but you are an outsider to a certain degree. trying to make new friends and date, but let's be honest, i'm not an intense dating machine.

Brad and I broke up yesterday. Not really any particular reason. I'm sad....

That's right folks...

I GOT A JOB!

I'm working for the Navy. I work at the Branch Health/Medical Clinic at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Ft. Worth. That's NAS JRB FW BHC. I'm learning all kinds of new acronyms and what ranks are and what they mean. It's lots of learning. My position is that of a Health Educator. No one quite knows what they would like me to do yet, so I've spent the past two days reading up on the requirements for health in the Navy and looking at their current stuff they have here at the clinic. Next week, Dr. Rivera from the Naval Hospital in Corpus Cristi (which we are an appendage of) will be here to do my official training and tell me what they would like me to do. I have an idea of that, so I'm trying to do my research now and be prepared so that I can get things going as soon as I'm sure.

So Friday night Brad and I hung out with the monkeys, played games and watched a movie. Then Saturday drama erupted when I would not pick a restaurant for dinner. He wanted to take me to get seafood because I love it but I really didn't care. Then he got all worried that I was like Julia Roberts in Runaway Bride and would only do whatever the person I was with wanted to do. So, I picked Joe's Crab Shack and we had seafood. I told him to get a steak, but he insisted that he wanted to experience what I like. BIG MISTAKE! So I know he doesn't like seafood, but he got the crab platter with the shrimp. I have never seen someone so afraid of their food as he was. He seriously cringed every time he looked at the crab. But, he was brave and he scored some points. Then we went to see "Fun with Dick and Jane." That was an ok movie. Then we came back to my house to watch the ball drop and have floats, but decided against floats and realized that they don't time delay in Dallas so we missed it. Oh well to that. We still had fun making fun of everything that was on TV though.

So today, I cleaned out the little monkeys' closet. Now, I'm helping Logan clean his room and then I am going to play a game of Monopoly with the monkeys. I know you're all jealous! Peace out!
